This resource empowers you to create personal action plans that focus on whole health and mental wellness a holistic approach. Many who have completed the workbook report feeling more prepared for the future and experiencing an improved quality life. You can navigate your journey, address your unique feelings and circumstances, and adjust your plan as life unfolds.
Level II - Facilitator training by expanding the understanding of Peer Support/Recovery applying OSCAR(c) registered (1985) and implemented model as a comprehensive care, holistic wellness journey with as a harmonious blend of Body, Soul, and Spirit. Life in the Rear View Mirror, individuals are led to explore and understand the impact of past traumas on our overall well-being. The Facilitator is provided in-depth knowledge areas of Trauma (PTSD/PTSI), Traumatic Brain Injury, Complex Grief & Complicated Mourning, Forgiveness, Suicide Prevention, and Domestic Violence (Perpetrator/Aggressor & Victim/Survivor). However, the knowledge practices are specific to the Facilitator as a para-professional, and collaboration with clinical and medical personnel is 'team-work' for the well-being of the client.

Substance Use Disorder Recovery
Level I-Welcome: We recognize that a lot has changed in the approaches for treatment of 'Substance Use Disorder'. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive care Peer Recovery Support program addressing all areas of substance use, alochol, recreational & pharma drugs, nicotine, inhalants, gambling, pornography, sexual, and even the less than obvious co-dependency, and shopping. We provide an advanced 'Recovery & Self-Care' Individual Plan. Assisted by and for Service Members, Veterans & their Families (SMVF) as Peer Para-Professionals. Trained Peer Specialists meet you where you are and Clinicians, plus Medical Practitioners are on your care-team, as needed.
Military Service & Para-Professional Informed
Level II -Peer Facilitator training to complement the continuum of care and the behavioral healthcare provided by an individual’s care or treatment team. Facilitator training engage in a variety of activities, including: Mentoring and goal setting, learning how to navigating complex healthcare systems, sharing resources and building skills, advocating for people in recovery. These are recognized as Evidence Based Practicies that yield improved outcomes. Decreased substance use and mental illness symptoms, reduced hospital readmission rates, increasing social support and social functioning. Reducing mental health symptoms Improved quality-of-life services indicators Increased engagement in self-care and wellness. They assist with sense of purpose and employment opportunities.

Suicide Prevention & Crisis Intervention

Level I - This curriculum is a comprehensive suicide prevention and crisis intervention program tailored specifically emphasizing peer support, holistic wellness and recovery strategies. In addition, these concepts and implementations are flexible programs to apply in response to ideations, failed attempts, advanced preventions, or in military and emergency personnel care-givers providing comfort and aid for survivors.
Level II - Facilitator Training: Suicidal Ideation and Intent: Consists of different thought processes for different people. Some may see suicide as a romanticized ending to a tragic life. Others may see suicide as a reaction or statement to the overwhelming wrongs committed against them. Then, some may see suicide as the final punishment for a series of their wrongdoings. Alternatively, there are those who view suicide as the only answer to end their pain and mental anguish.
Most often, our 'Peers' have had ideations, failed attempts, or lost a family or military unit member. They have experiences determining the narrative meaning behind suicide within the context of their/your life story. They assist sharing your narrative will help the client paint a picture of how move forward, in working through this program.. A Peer is able to derive a new meaning behind working through emotional distress and suicide intervention. Assisting the client frame the event(s) in which could give into your feelings of suicide but choose not to, as a sort of “pause” in your life story. Trauma is an injury – not a disorder. Facilitators are among your peers in a safe and non-judgmental place.
