The devastation in rural communities is impossible to imagine, even when news and social media, and the survivors have so many connections to 'tell it like it is'. We in Southwest Virginia have been impacted, and realize how close we are to our NC neighbors 9 miles away and beyond...
We are dedicated to uplifting rural communities in Southwest Virginia and North Carolina impacted by these recent disasters! We truly understand the challenges survivors are facing, and we’re ready, willing and able to offer Mental Health Emergency Response through our engaging virtual Peer Support Groups.
Our dedicated Peer Support/Peer Recovery Specialists are ready to help forge connections as we set up ZOOM registrations for 'Virtual Gathering' access, OR through partnerships with local churches, libraries, and community organizations 'In-Place Facilities' our 'ZOOM' connections, to be 'in-person'.

Here's what I can claim with confidence, our Service Members, Veterans and their Family Members who have decided to pursue a career in Peer-to-Peer Mental Health Services, are equipped with the life experience to help someone's trauma recovery, in wartime and out of wartime, they have a passion to serve.
I can also say, that our Civilian Peer Specialists are equally equipped to provide Peer Support to help an entire community to move forward to rebuild, restore what is most important - strengthening resolve and share their journey of overcoming life's challenges.
